Spotlight Programme

In 2015/16 we had DfE funding from Kesgrave & Farlingaye Teaching School to work with parents and preschool/nursery teachers to support children/parents and staff in these areas of child development:
• Physical
• Speech/Language
• Personal/Social/Emotional

We continue to deliver this valuable support and settings/schools pay the Shine practitioners through Badingham Playschool. We use an holistic approach for example using ‘physical therapy’ methods to promote development in speech/language or personal/social/emotional development.
Some of the interventions we deliver include Development Movement Play (one to one or small group), Thrive Online Assessments (individual), Wellcomm assessment, Tyneside phonological assessment and Present Child Translations (parent or teacher).
Below please find an outlines of the costings for our support from April 2017.

School visits

£12.50 per hour per practitioner (minimum 1 hour visit)
45p a mile (maximum cost calculated on distance from and back to Badingham/Peasenhall – where combined visits to a nearby setting can be arranged, cost will be reduced.)

A series of visits can be arranged on a case by case basis to fit in with the monetary and time restraints in each setting/school.

Contact Michele or Rachel if you would like to see testimonials from previous trainers, practitioners and parents.
